Business as usual - COVID 19

How we're working this summer

Nobody knows for sure how we will all remember the summer of 2020, but it's already clear that we need to be flexible, thoughtful and adaptable.

Like many tech companies we have a business model that requires sound contingency planning and a focus on service continuity. We have a culture of working remotely and using a variety of technology to communicate effectively.

What's happening?

More people are shopping online and using services online for the first time. Sadly, we're already seeing a reported rise in instances of attempted fraud hiding under the topic of the Coronavirus. Our software provides a security check for businesses that trade online, helping to block fraudsters at the door.

Our services are put to a wide range of uses and we're planning to learn about new use cases and share stories that might be helpful to business in the weeks and months ahead. For example, our API provides a data accuracy filter to prevent bad data being entered onto systems; stopping typos in email addresses on forms when people are checking out as 'guest'.

This will be a summer of cancelled meetings, trade shows and conferences. Software accuracy is vital to businesses that continue to trade and find new ways to connect. We provide services for some of the largest data companies in the world, and we'll continue to play our part in keeping business going.

For all the reasons above, it's business as usual for us. Our systems are working automatically as normal, 24/7 with >99.99% uptime. Our staff are working remotely maintaining and supporting our existing services and developing exciting new products. Our business continuity plans designed under ISO27001 and 9001 have been implemented and are working effectively.

We're here if you have any questions and I'm happy to listen and learn from any queries or concerns.

Rowland.
